This is newer version of the machine made by Billport in the 70's. I simply rebuild my VP9 table, which already was 10 years old, and I have redrawn the graphics and enhanced the gameplay to be as close as possible to the Billport machine.

So in this table I used the rom of another similar table with the same layout, Volley.
Both tables, Football and Volley, were based on the Williams table World Cup.

Based on the Stern table from 2002.
This time was a solo project, so no others to blame than me if something is wrong :)
The playfield isn't 100% perfect, but it is good enough. Playfield and plastics are 4k in size.

The table uses fastflips, and ClarkKent settings for the flippers (the same settings as in Party Zone).
I also added surround sound to most of the sounds.

The table can be played with VPX 10.5, although I used 10.6 beta to build it.

I have redrawn all the graphics, so any similarity with the original ones must be a coincidence ;) Well, I haven't redrawn the girls :)
 
I have not used any primitives (apart from pegs and screws), so if you are just as talented as me making or modeling 3D objects then you still have a chance to make good looking tables using walls and ramps ;)
 
And the playfield and plastics are 4k :) and they are PNG, and the size of the table is still quite low :)

Thanks to Leo for suggesting this table and to Grizz and hassanchop for their playfield and plastics redraws. For this table I increased the resolution of the playfield and I added new insert lights and texts.
    
Also thanks to wtiger for all the images of the real table.
 
The table called "prototype" is based on the prototype version which included a hole in the Snake Run, a VUK at the top left, being the exit of the Snake Run, and an extra slingshot under the bumpers. The game play is almost the same, but the VUK gives you a little more control. The production table had a single target in the Snake Run.
 
Both tables use the same and latest rom, radcl_l1, although you may change it in the script.
 
This first version has the ramps made with VPX ramps. 32assassin is working on the 3D ramps, but it is a lot of work, so in the meantime you may try the table and check how it plays :)

Taito started this table as a clone of Sinbad, but after complains from the players missing the balls between the flippers, Taito removed two of the flippers and added the slings. A picture of the table can be seen at the IPDB.

Since the Sultan's ROM has been lost. This table uses the alternative ROM from Sinbad, sinbadn (norwegian ? ). This way the highscores from the vpx Sinbad table won't mix with the ones in this table.

I have used the images from my VP9 table, so they are not very high quality images, but they are good enough to play the table, and VPX does an amazing job with the lightning :) The apron, the bumpers and the flippers are new (I don't know who made those primitives).
The fastflips are enabled, so you know the story... if you are still using an old VPX & vpinmame the change the line Const UseSolenoids = 2 to Const UseSolenoids = 1 :)

Graphics by me. Layout should be as close as Stern's table as possible, the same as the gameplay, although there are some changes in the objects.

Notes:

This is another table I used to test the beta VPX. I used the graphics I made for my Spiderman table for VP9.

I release this table mostly Because Carlos asked me to do so, and because it has been lying in my HD for too long now, but I still play it from time to time because it is just great fun :)

The table is old by today's standards, and the script is old too. But please don't start doing mods of this table, Alessio has released some great versions of the Spiderman table at the italian site. Alessio's table is great and 100% close to the real thing in terms of graphics.

This tables uses the Spiderman vault edition rom, get it at Stern's site and rename it to smanve_101.zip

Version 1.2.2 uses a newer script so B2S backglasses may work, I have also included some DOF commands.

Notes:
I made this table several years ago while I was beta testing VPX. It was never meant to be uploaded, so give thanks to Carlos Guizzo who convinced me to upload it. :)

I was going to make this table to play without the ROM, and I started with a new playfield. I finished the playfield, but at that time the beta VPX came out and I rebuilt the table using VPX. It played so good that I forgot about the original script and I simply made it using Stern's rom. At the end the plastics were made form Stern's table too. So the only original image is the playfield. This is another tables, like the Transformers, were I made wire ramps instead of plastics ramps. Who found out that plastic ramps was the best in an IRON Man table?

Since this table was never meant to be released, it does not contain DOF or other commands, but it is playable in a cabinet or FS modes. There is already an Iron Man table for VPX, so please don't start making mods of this table.

Although there are some changes in the table from the original, still it should play as close as possible to the real one.

It uses the rom from Iron Man Vault Edition, which can be downloaded from Stern's web site and renamed to im_183ve.zip

The table uses the Pro version of the rom. Download it from Stern's web site and rename it to tf_180.zip

Notes:
The table's layout and the playfield graphics should be as close as possible to the Stern's table. The plastics images are only similar, and the ramps are completely different, as they are wire ramps. I could have used ROM's ramps, but the original ramps may work on the real table but in this VP table they hide the flipper insert lights, and the wire ramps let me see the state of those lights, which are important in the game play. I also feel wire ramps feels better than plastic ramps in the all metal Transformers table :) I guess I could have enhanced them a little, as I simply copy them from my Iron Man table.

I also changed Megatron figure using a robot model, and I also changed some flashers from the original table.

The gameplay is as close as possible as to what I have seen in the papa video. Even the ramp hits using a back flip can be done, both left and right. They are difficult shots, but they can be done.
 
So, full gameplay, but a little different looks :)
 
And I don't want any mods of this table, if you want one table 100% like the original one then you'll need to make it yourself. This table was going to be in my private collection, so give thanks to Carlos Guizzo who convinced me to upload it.

Notes: this table was made when I was helping another author to make his Jokerz table, mostly to sort out the problems he might find. His table was going to have better graphics and better objects. Until this other author make his table, then you may play this one from me. It is a plain and simple VPX table, using mostly VPX objetcs to make the plastics, ramps, etc.

I made this table mostly for myself since I'm a desktop player :) It can also be played in a cabinet, but I didn't add any special commands for cabinet players, like dof, and similar. I guess all that will be part of the other table if it ever gets finished, as the other author was going to make it specially for cabinet play.

I have included a zip file with the Apron translated in English by Tio. The file is a replacement for the plastics image in the table, in case you prefer that.

In the table info there is an English translation of the table rules.
 
The emulation of the Taito tables is a little different than other tables, and if you quit the table in the middle of a game, next time you restart the table it will continue that game. And if you had some locked balls it may be possible that you wont get a new ball, to fix that you need to delete the nvram file, sharkt.nv, from the NVRAM folder. I haven't found any other solution.

Special thanks to bassgeige for suggesting and testing the table.
I build the table from scratch, so it is not a conversion of my old VP9 table.
 
Original 3D models from GLBX. I have adapted them to VPX and adjusted their textures.
The path of the dead figures are simple images since I didn't have any 3D models of them.
 
This is a lighter table, not only because of its textures & lightning, but also because it is under 14Mb.
This table is simply an alternative table which is lighter on resources for systems with older graphic cards, for ex. laptops, although the Stern rom emulation is quite heavy on the cpu.
It uses the ROM sounds since they have been greatly enhanced by the latest vpinmame.
Most of the images are from the real table, I have only replaced or redrawed a few of them, mostly the apron, the lower plastics and the light inserts and texts.

This table could have never been finished if scottywic hadn't remake all the graphics, make all the sounds and animations for the DMD, and he tested and tested and came up with changes here and there. So a big thanks to him :)
 
The table is an original, so don't look for roms :)
It uses UltraDMD, so just copy the Diablo.UltraDMD folder in the same folder as the table.
And read the manual. There aren't complicated rules or modes, the game play should straightforward, but reading will help you understand the table and what are the goals.
 
This table is a cooperative table. The different player do not play against each other but they unite against the Lords of Hell. Still each player will have each own score, bonus, experience level, etc.

This kind of table is easy to build using VPX built inn objects. I actually build it in 5 days. The graphics were already done, since I made the table for VP9, and the script was easy to adapt. But the table was build from scratch, since most of the objects had to be replaced anyway.

This is a re-themed table based on the table from Mr Game from 1989.
The script is based on the old table from TAB/destruk.

I saw this table at the Pinball museum in Budapest, and I didn't manage to play the DMD games, so I thought why not make a VPX version :) And now I have played those dmd games, which remembered me of the games I played on my MSX computer back in 1984 :)

I couldn't find good images, so I redraw the playfield myself, and since I haven't learned yet how to model 3D objects, so I made simple plastics with a simple image on them. So if any of you want to make an real recreation of the table with 3D objects for the plastics and apron then you may use my table as a base. The layout should be very close to the original, and the script should be right.

The table is based on the Game Plan table from 1979.
Thanks to Jolo for the pictures of his own Old Coney Island.

Some notes about the table:
- Copy the nvram file, coneyis.nv, to the nvram folder. This file has the replays levels already set up. Otherwise they will need to be configured before the table is playable.

- I have included inkochnito's dip switches setup, so press F6 and check that you have the options you prefer.

- This table's ROM support chimes. I don't think the chimes were installed in the production table. But they are there and those solenoids are activated during play. If you prefer to play with those chimes then you need to uncomment 4 lines.Just remove the ' at the beginning of the lines 37 to 40:

This is an original table, with everything included in the vpx file, and it doesn't need any external program to run. It can be run in desktop mode and in FS mode. The DMD will rotate accordingly.

You need the latest VPX 10.2 to run this table, at least rev. 2847 due to the new rollover objects.
I have used the less 3d meshes as possible and used what vpx has to offer of build inn objects, Resulting is a very responsive table. I have used vpx ramps to build the ramps, and vpx walls to build some objects like the Firestation and the Storage Facility. The big size of the table is due to the sounds and music being stored in the vpx file.

The layout is based on the Ghostbusters table by Stern, but there are some differences in the layout, like 2 captive balls, gates at the top lanes, holographic Slimer, wire ramps, etc. The graphics were done by me using photoshop with images found on the internet.

Read the included manual for rules, and there are a lot of rules :) The rules are based on Stern's table, but with many differences, mostly because I have never played Stern's table and I wanted to add my own ideas.

Tips for playing? You can go for catching ghosts, you can go for completing modes & ladders, you can go for collecting gear, or all them at the same time. There are plenty of extra modes and multiballs, with a lot of jackpots and superjackpots. And when I say multiballs I mean crazy multiballs :)

This is an original table, with the layout similar to Stern Kiss.

Read the included manual for an explanation about the rules. In short, the goal of the game is to achieve the highest score.
Hatching eggs and catching Pokémon give the highest scores. You'll get plenty of extra bonus and rounds, with multiballs and jackpots, and coins to upgrade your ball. The table can also be played in FS mode.

The table was made with the beta VPX 10.2 rev 2765, but it plays fine with 10.1.

This table has higher resolution graphics than my usually playfield and plastics. It is a very plain VPX table, without fancy 3D objects, just good old fun.

The light effects are done with vpx lights, no photoshop effects. The blue flash is made with photoshop though, but it is a single image. The fading is done by changing the intensity of the flasher. I have made a smaller "fading lights" mostly for the ROM controlled flashers, since the lights fade by their own.

Now it is time for my summer holidays :) So I'll take a break and I'll see to go back to some old original projects.

PS: I forgot to mention that this table needs VPX 10.1 since it is saved with that version.

Another table for those friends in Argentina :) Leo and Jolo :)

Again I reused most of the graphics from the VP9 table to rebuild this VPX table. I retouched the plastics. Since I'm not a 3D builder, the table uses only primitives for standard objects, like posts and screws, the rest is done the "old" using walls and ramps.

1.3.1 uses new plastics from the Cavaleiro Negro table.

I rebuilt the table in VPX and use the old script as a base. I had to remake the images since I managed to save my old ones with the old VP lightning.

A few notes about the table:

- This table is dedicated to my dear friend from Argentina Jolo (playcade), he asked me to build this table for VPX, so this weekend I took my old table and rebuild it for VPX, removed much of the old code, and in less than two days the table was ready. VPX really makes it easier to build tables :)

- This table uses the 7 digits ROM bootleg as default, you need both roms: hglbtrtr.zip and hglbtrtb.zip

- I have added 2 extra graphics for the bumpers and droptargets. On some tables I have seen the red and blue exchanged in the bumpers and droptargets. So if you prefer the another color you may exchange the images, but you will need to do it in the editor :)

- There is also a basketball. So if you prefer to play with a ceramic ball that looks like a basketball, then in the editor you need to assign the graphics "BlackBall" to the Ball Image, and "basketball" to the Decal.

- The table uses the same graphics as the old VP9 table. I have better graphics for the plastics, but I miss a nicer playfield for the table. When I find it then I'll make a revision with better graphics.

Rules? What rules? There is no spoon! :)

The Story:
Gargamel has decided to use another strategy to capture the smurfs.
In the middle of the forest he has built an amusement park for the smurfs.
And pretending to be nice he will try to capture them all.
The smurfs are having too much fun, unaware of Gargamel and his intentions.

The Game:
The goal of the game is to become a master of the 6 main rides/attractions.
You'll find skillshots, ball savers, extra balls, mystery awards, highscores and much more.
When you are a master of an attraction the each time you complete the attraction you get a jackpot. This jackpot increases each time you get a jackpot.

The Attractions:
- The Mirror Maze: a maze where you may end on the Azrael Shooting gallery, the bumper cars or simply back to the entrance.
- The Azrael Shooting gallery: just drop all the targets, don't forget to nudge!
- The Haunted House: hit all the targets and be careful of the ghosts.
- Bumper Cars: hit those 100 times to advance your status.
- Freefall: help your smurf friends to ride the freefall. Shoot the spinners.
- Ferry's Wheel: Papa smurf will help you to get you to the top playfield. Here you may ride the Main Center Ride or the Insane Ride.
- Insane Ride: hit the targets to increase the value of the ride, and get your three smurf friends and get your ride!

The Music:
Some Swedish smurfs singing some disco songs, typical for any smurf amusement park :)
 

The rules are very short, mostly just have fun trying to get the ball to the insane ride at the top.

The table is meant to be played in desktop mode, since it is quite wide and tall.

Consider it like a late beta version :) Everything should work, but for now there are very few light effects and no multiballs.

This table uses 4 images for the light instert fading. I updated the fading script to use not only 4 images for the lights but also to use the on and off state of the lights. I set the intensity of the lights to 0,25 for most of the lights, just to increase a little the brightness when they are on.

This is still a beta of how TOTAN can be made using the new options available in VP921.
What have I used in this table:
- Fading Lightmaps (no need for full screen images for each step in the fading)
- 8 steps Gi (also no need for 8 ful screen playfield images)
- fading flashers using alpha ramps
- the lamp using a primitive for a better rotating movement (thanks to Michael Gallo for the 3D lamp and the texture). Actually this is the main reason I release this table, so you can see this lamp in action :)
- the rubber posts and screws are also made with primitives (takes from FP), but I haven't learned yet how to properly add a image to the mesh. But for now they are a good example of static primitives.

Still it is a long way before it is finished, since I should like to use more 3D objects, for the genie and the magnet, and the targets. But that's something I still have to learn :). But for now maybe some authors should like to see the fading lightmaps in action, and maybe some of you should like to play with a different TOTAN :). The images of the playfield and apron are still the ones made by Grizz (from the "classical" version)

Still it is a long way before it is finished, since I should like to use 3D objects for the aliens and saucers and better targets using a mesh. But that's something I still have to learn :). But for now maybe some authors should like to see the fading lightmaps in action, and maybe some of you should like to play with a different AFM :).
